There's no joy in watching your kitty cat puke up the un-chewed head of a dead mouse.
I sat at the kitchen counter drinking coffee trying to come out of my Zyrtec induced sleep-coma when Grace walked over and started heaving. I had had dreams about a woman wanting to hire me to cater an event with a menu that included dog. Then I was involved with a performing arts company and had a run in with Elaine Stritch. The day was going to be just fine.
It was too. We got to read Psalms 3 and 4, there were no histrionics at The Grange Noon AA Meeting, I had a canned salmon sandwich and managed to do a little bit of interior design. Robert invited us to dinner with his neighbor and my client Judy J. She left her husband back in Spokane for a little her-time at the condo she bought for herself. She and I spent a couple years decorating it. Here's a little picture that captures the essence of the place.
